Canada announces a new Express Entry invitation-based system.
Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada, IRCC have announced the category-based Express Entry selection launch. The category-based selection will allow Canada to invite applicants who have specific skills, language abilities, or training to apply.
The invitations for this year’s category-based selection will be focused on candidates with a track record of success.
- A solid French language ability or
- Work experience in the following areas:
- healthcare
- STEM (science, technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers
- Trades such as plumbers, carpenters, and contractors
- Transport
- Agriculture and agrifood
